What is Celebrate HARVEST AND why does it exist?
Celebrate HARVEST HELPS FUND field trips for students to local agritainment farms as well as continuing education awards for future and current farmers. It also helps run/manage non-traditional events/activities (like maker’s markets, pig races, u-fish ponds, etc.) for existing farms in the quest to achieve its mission.
Celebrate HARVEST hopes that funding field trips will to inspire local youth by showing them what the agritainment (experiential farming) industry is all about while also supporting local farms financially.
The continuing education awards support individuals who want to learn any aspect of the agritainment industry with the goal of pursuing the field. And its funding of non-traditional events/activities provides financial support to help run those events/activities for existing agritainment farms. Public grants, private donations and running/managing non-traditional farm events/activities are integral in helping Celebrate HARVEST achieve its mission. MISSION/PURPOSE
Celebrate HARVEST is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the family farm by financially supporting and inspiring ALL farmers – current & future – to pursue agritainment (experiential farming) as a supplemental or primary source of their revenue. Celebrate HARVEST will do this by inspiring youth at the grade school age level by funding field trips to such venues and continuing education awards to learn more about the agritainment industry.
